Out of Gypsy's second litter, Rod held on to the brindle boy Nickel - CH Bravo Silver Lining. Nickel had some amazing wins as a class dog.
He was awarded Winners Dog out of the Bred By Exhibitor class at the Devon Kennel Club of Montgomery County weekend by judge Ms. Kirsi Sainio (Finland) for a 4-point major and judge Mr. Ken McDermott awarded Nickel Winners Dog at the prestigious AKC/Eukanuba National Chamiponship Show in 2009 - the 125th Anniversary of the AKC.
Nickel finished his championship in December 2010 during the Shoreline Cluster in Costa Mesa, CA and in 2011 he went to live with Charles Weir in Long Beach. Nickel enjoys his daily walks, fussing at squirrels, and watching the world go by as a loved boy dog.
