Rod's first show dog Cooper was co-owned with his breeder, Charla Hill. Winner of 5 groups, with 39 group placements and a total of 115 Best of Breed Wins, Cooper was a top 10 Scottie in the United States.
Rod attributes much of their success in and out of the ring due in large part to the mentoring of Charla and Kari Hill of Charthill Scottish Terriers.
Cooper topped off an incredible show career with 1st place Veteran Dog at Montgomery County Kennel Club in 2005 at 8 years of age. Unfortunately, Cooper left us way too soon for our liking, but we are thankful to have him behind the pedigrees of the majority of our dogs and bitches at Bravo Scotties.
